Abstract/Summary:
Various species and site quality classes were incorporated into a linear timber harvest scheduling model to determine maximum volume harvest and present net value (PNV) within appropriate constraints over a 120-year planning horizon. Harvest flows between successive periods were controlled using a set of constraints in a set of six base model runs. Non-declining yield was modeled to mitigate risk in the presence of unpredictable future timber prices.
