| Corporate environmental issues are becoming more complex and interconnected, and a major theme of industry and commerce. Furthermore, there is little doubt that environmental issues will be near the top of the agenda for stakeholders, government regulators, and business management in the global community. In this regard, improving environmental performance in an organization is one of most pivotal strategies that industry should immediately recognize. Implementing an environmental management system (EMS) associated with an international standardization procedure may help business integrate environmental values into their related business operations.; This research identifies emerging environmental strategy on business management and develops a plausible interpretation of EMS's intent. It was based on a thorough review and synthesis of Environmental Management Program documents, especially on a wide range of existing literature in the field of environmental management and its related strategy.; The literature related to organizational application that defines challenges and strategies associated with environmental educational programs of an International Standard Organization (ISO)-based EMS was assessed extensively. Thus, this study defined a developing environmental strategy option for general application to larger corporate settings in developing-status nations.; At the same time, this research bridges the gap between EMS theory and practice. Therefore, environmental challenges associated with corporate environmental education programs were identified as part of a strategic approach to improve its related environmental performance in organizational settings. Corporate environmental initiatives and programs in conjunction with achieving leading-edge environmental management systems were examined for meeting minimum ISO requirements.; These goals were fulfilled through a case study of an industrial organization. A holistic approach was recommended for day-to-day business practice in an organization. |
