Abstract/Summary: | |
The Common Component Architecture (CCA) is a specification for component development in parallel and sequential frameworks. Its implementation over distributed frameworks requires extensions so as to allow for components located in different address spaces. Legion is a distributed framework and the implementation of the CCA specification is achieved by transforming a Legion object into a Legion CCA component by linking it to a library called 'CCALib'. The library exposes an API compliant to the CCA specification and thus provides for component development in Legion. |
