Web Component Library Management System Design And Implementation

With the rapid increase in the scale and complexity of software, the traditional development mode of software is confronted with enormous challenge. Then the next round of software crisis appears, the effective solution to this problem is software reuse. The technology of component plays a very important role of software reuse. By developing the management system of the library of component, it divided the software developer into two categories: the component developer and the component assembler. So this method brings about the division of the software developer, promotes efficiency of software development and improves the quality of software product. This paper firstly introduces the idea of software reuse and the concept that is related to component technology. After these, the paper introduces the research of assembling component with software architecture. Finally, the paper describes the design and implement of a management system of the library of Web component in detail. In the basis of combining the current component description models, the paper adopts the BNF to define the description model of Web component. The system has accomplished the function of organization information of component description to put it into the library, the classification of component, the browsing of component and the retrieval of component. So it has implemented the management of Web component, and supported software reuse in the domain of web application.
