Emerging mobile steganography

Many organizations are adopting the latest IT technology devices, to help improve worker productivity and efficiency. In the meantime, it is becoming more crucial for businesses to be aware of the risks posed by steganography applications to sensitive company data. The purpose of this study was to examine the danger of emerging mobile steganography applications in organizations, and to suggest ways to mitigate those risks effectively. Also, this paper described a type of mobile device steganography impact and hiding techniques, in conjunction with mobile device management solutions chosen for organizations. The findings suggest that dangers to sensitive company data is high, and businesses are recommended to address these risks quickly and efficiently to protect their data. This research concluded by providing organizations with various solutions in order to use mobile device safely, and protect sensitive data. Through due diligence and mitigation, the implementation of mobile device management (MDM) platform such as MobileIron and AirWatch, will keep data secure.;Keywords: Mobile, Steganography, Cyber Security, Threat, Vulnerability.
