The objective of this thesis is to develop a graphical user interface-based software, BLOCS 1.0, using the existing BLOCS finite element code as the numerical simulation module. BLOCS 1.0 can provide a more convenient way to model 2D/3D transport phenomena of electroosmotic driven flow in lab-on-a-chip devices. The mesh import module generalizes the program by dealing with any type of channel geometry. Interactive input approach makes complex simulation configuration simple and quick. Various visualization tools and data export functions allow the user to easily display and process solutions.
