Abstract/Summary:
Software Specification and Design phases are the crucial stages in the development of any software product. All major decisions concerning the software life cycle development takes place during these phases. Due to do complexity of the software product that is developed and the interaction between various teams involved in the development of the software product in the current software industry, there are several situations where in the textual specification and design information established by one team conveys wrong information to the other development teams of the same product and could lead to rework and hence additional cost to develop the required software product. There are few tools available in the present software industry used to create specification and design of any software product using graphical symbols, but these symbols are non standard symbols. To overcome this problem Casper 2.0 is designed and developed where in textual information is replaced by graphical SDL-RT standard symbols to convey Specification and Design related information of Software product development.
