Abstract/Summary:
Researchers conducted a performance comparison of the Knox Cube Test-Revised (KCT-R) between two non-clinical East Indian populations residing in India versus Canada across the life span. This study hoped to determine whether attention span and short-term memory were influenced by variables such as gender, education, and age. Results revealed that performance was poorer in individuals residing in India versus Canada. A tentative hypothesis for this finding was that differences in quality of education and lower socioeconomic status might have contributed to this lower performance within the India sample. There were no significant differences between Males and Females.
