Construction materials for civil engineering projects

The purpose of this master's thesis was to research and present the different ways construction materials are used in civil engineering and construction projects at the present time. This research was conducted using a variety of sources, such as textbooks, design manuals, journal articles and Internet websites. The project began by examining the traditional methods and materials used in construction and was later expanded by exploring more recent developments in the construction industry.; In civil engineering, many building projects use tried-and-true methods for construction. As an engineering student, one does not have experience working with these materials, but often need to become familiar with their properties to complete design projects or assigned problem sets. Another purpose of this thesis was to present all of the findings of the above-mentioned research as a resource for engineering students.
