Research On Rural Food Safety Supervision

Food,as a necessity for human survival and life,ensuring its safety is related to everyone's health and life safety.As China's reform and opening up continues to deepen,people's income continues to increase,and living standards have also improved greatly.People's demand for food has shifted from simple satiation to nutrition and safety.In response to the emerging food safety problems,the Chinese government has taken a series of measures to effectively improve the quality of food.The quality of urban food safety supervision has been effectively improved.However,the food safety situation in rural areas is still grim.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the current rural food safety supervision issues.This paper closely focuses on the theme of rural food safety supervision.Based on the theory of public goods and the theory of market failure,this paper applies literature research method,investigation method and case analysis method to research and analyze.Firstly,this paper summarizes historical evolution of food safety supervision in China,the current situation and the characteristics of rural food safety supervision in China.Then this paper takes R county of Jiangsu province as a sample for research and design,and studies and analyzes the main methods,existing problems and causes of rural food safety supervision in R county.Problems include blind spots in supervision,weak supervision team,illegal operation by supervised entities,low participation of social supervision forces and small role of supporting facilities.This paper explores the causes of the existing problems from the perspective of reality,and concludes that the reasons for the problems are the imperfect laws and regulations,the imperfect supervision mechanism,the low professional quality of supervised entities,single form of publicity and education and the imperfect supervision facilities.Finally from perfecting the laws and regulations,constructing rural food regulatory system,improving the professional quality of supervised entities,optimizing the regulatory environment and increasing the investment in supervision facilities,this paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions that are generally applicable to the supervision of rural food safety to solve the dilemma of government supervision of rural food safety in China.
