Research On The Influence Of Producer Service Industry Development Quality On Manufacturing Export Competitiveness

At present,China's economic development has achieved great progress,ranking second in all countries,and the manufacturing scale ranks first in the world.However,the international competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry is weak,and its position in the global value chain is low,facing a dilemma of "big but not strong".With the strengthening of resource and environmental constraints,social phenomena such as population aging,China's manufacturing industry used to rely on the demographic dividend to produce comparative advantages gradually lost,and the manufacturing export competitiveness began to decline.Therefore,China must try to explore how to improve it's manufacturing export competitiveness.As a sector that provides intermediate elements with high-level knowledge in the manufacturing industry,the producer service industry has injected a new source of power for the progress of manufacturing.Therefore,improving the competitiveness of manufacturing exports should not only be limited to the manufacturing industry itself,but also to start with the producer service industry,and focus on improving the development quality of the producer service industry,making it a way to increase China's manufacturing export competitiveness is the key entry point to drive China's economic growth.This article uses a combination of theory and empirical methods,on the basis of combing and summarizing comparative advantages and existing literature,contacting the actual situation of China's current producer service.This article selects panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2005 to 2015 and uses the static and dynamic GMM methods of panel data to measure the impact of the producer service development quality on the China's manufacturing export competitiveness from the entire country and regions.This article uses the principal component analysis method to study the development quality of producer service.The research results show that:(1)Under the overall situation of the country,the development quality of producer service has a significant positive effect on the manufacturing export competitiveness.This is mainly achieved by reducing production costs,technological upgrading,product differentiation,and increasing the added value of export products.(2)In terms of different regions,whether it is the eastern central region or the western region,the development quality of producer service has a significant improvement effect on the manufacturing export competitiveness.However,due to the difference in economic development levels and resource endowments between the eastern central region and the western region,the development quality of the producer service industry in the eastern central region of China has a more obvious role in enhancing the export competitiveness of the manufacturing industry than in the western region.(3)Research investment can promote the improvement of the manufacturing export competitiveness;per capita investment in fixed assets plays a significant role in improving the manufacturing export competitiveness;government intervention level plays a significant role in improving the manufacturing export competitiveness;foreign direct investment has a significant positive effect on the manufacturing export competitiveness;the manufacturing cost has a significant negative effect on the promotion of its export competitiveness.
