The manufacturing industry is the pillar industry in China's national economy. Our manufacturing industry has made great achievements with the reform and opening up,the scale of exports ranked first in 2012.But in recent years, with the demise of the demographic dividend, the constraints of domestic resources and environment and the transfer of manufacturing industry in developed countries, the development of China's manufacturing industry is facing increasing pressure, how to promote the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry to enhance its export competition has been imminent. In addition, the producer service of our country presents the development tendency of agglomeration,as the intermediate input of the manufacturing industry sector, the producer service is becoming closer with the deepening of social division of labor.Based on this, this paper attempts to clarify the following questions: Whether the agglomeration of producer services in China will improve the export competitiveness of manufacturing industry? How does producer service industry promote export competitiveness of manufacturing industry? How to coordinate the development of productive service industry and manufacturing industry in China? It is of great practical significance and theoretical significance to clarify these problems, promote the export competitiveness of manufacturing industry during the "thirteen-five" plan period, adjust industrial structure rationally and formulate reasonable industrial policies. This paper first summarizes the domestic and foreign research on the impact of producer services on the export competitiveness of manufacturing industry and constructs a theoretical model to illustrate the mechanism of producer service agglomeration to enhance the export competitiveness of manufacturing industry.Secondly, this paper describes the present situation of producer service agglomeration and export competitiveness of manufacturing industry. Finally, using the panel data of 29 provinces and municipalities in China from 2003 to 2013,using the manufacturing industry trade competitiveness index and the export market share of manufacturing industry as the indexes to measure the export competitiveness of the manufacturing industry in each province, the effects of producer services agglomeration on the export competitiveness of manufacturing industry are studied by using SDM model of random effects, the research includes the following conclusions:(1)producer service agglomeration can enhance the manufacturing industry's competitiveness by reducing the manufacturing cost, produce learning effect to improve the human capital level of manufacturing enterprises and promote the specialization of manufacturing industry to improve the efficiency of manufacturing industry;(2)producer service agglomeration can produce obvious spatial spillover effect, enhance the export competitiveness of the manufacturing industry of the own province, but also promote the export competitiveness of the neighboring provinces obviously;(3)the FDI and the degree of competition within the industry can significantly enhance the export competitiveness of the manufacturing industry, the effect of the latter is more obvious. Finally,on the basis of theoretical research and empirical research, this paper puts forward the following policy suggestions: Firstly, widen the market access of producer service and improve the level of producer service agglomeration;Secondly, break through the blockade of the market and the local protectionism, giving full play to the spatial spillover effect of producer services agglomeration on the export competitiveness of the manufacturing industry;Thirdly;develop education and skills training to enhance the level of human capital in producer service.
