Budget Hotel(Also known as Limited Service Hotel)?The main clients are mass travelers and ordinary business people.First appeared in the 1950 s in the United States,in developed countries in Europe and the United States is a fairly mature Hotel form.Shanghai Jinjiang Group's "Jinjiang Star" is considered to be the first truly economic hotel in mainland China.It appeared in 1996.Since 1996,after nearly 20 years of rapid development and expansion,economic hotels have been affected by many factors,such as the decline of macroeconomic growth rate,the localization of foreign brand hotels,the upgrading of national consumption,the increase of operating costs,the individualization of consumption,the diversity of demand and the strong network public opinion.More or less,they are confronted with problems such as weak bargaining power,large fluctuation of occupancy rate,rising labor costs,decreasing customer satisfaction,increasing business pressure,unstable employees,and pressure of network public opinion.Economical hotels have reached the stage of survival and development only by improving their comprehensive competitiveness,especially their core competitiveness.The thesis is supported by the theory of strategic management and the core competitiveness of enterprises.Combining the industry characteristics of service companies;Based on the core competitiveness and its element composition theory,Using literature search methods,questionnaire survey methods,etc.Building on existing research,Refined the evaluation index system of core competitiveness of budget hotels,Using tools such as analytic hierarchy process and SPSS,Get the evaluation index weight assignment,And passed the consistency test.The thesis uses Luoyang Home Inn Sports Center Store(referred to as R Hotel),Conducted an empirical analysis,And put forward specific measures to enhance the hotel's core competitiveness.Thesis research conclusion:(1)Refined the evaluation index of the core competitiveness of the economy hotel,including 18 specific indicators including the five elements of operation and management ability,hardware facilities level,staff quality level,marketing ability,and hotel culture.(2)The quantification of the weights of the core competitiveness indicators has been completed.(3)Use the evaluation index system to find out the weak links of the core competitiveness of budget hotels,and formulate strategies to enhance the core competitiveness of budget hotels.
