Study On The Influence Of Producer Services Agglomeration On The Improvement Of Manufacturing Efficiency In Northeast China

Producer service is the intermediate input for other products or services,as a link in the manufacturing value chain,it generates agglomeration effect in the interaction with the manufacturing industry.With the division of labor and industrial agglomeration,producer services have promoted the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry and brought the improvement of manufacturing efficiency.Manufacturing is the top priority of the development of national economy in China.Due to policy and cost advantages,at the early days of China,the manufacturing industry of the northeast developed rapidly.But with the changing economic and political environment at home and abroad,the labor-intensive development mode can no longer promote the economic growth in northeast China,the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing is imperative.In the developed areas of China,the accumulation of producer services have become one of the ways to promote the efficiency of manufacturing.Therefore,the analysis of the internal relation between the producer services agglomeration and the manufacturing efficiency in the northeast region through this paper has an important theoretical and practical significance.This paper first uses former professors analysis using the D-S framework to theoretically analysis the relation between two industries,which theoretically proves that the agglomeration of producer services will have a positive impact on the manufacturing efficiency.At the same time,this paper uses the relevant data from 2003 to 2015 to measure the agglomeration entropy and manufacturing efficiency of producer services in northeast China,and analyzes the current situation of industrial development.In the empirical study,this paper chooses the spatial Dubin model modified by Bayes with spatial-time double fixed model as the empirical model.In order to further explore the influence mode of producer services agglomeration and its related influencing factors on the efficiency of the manufacturing,this paper measures the direct and indirect effect of selected explanatory variable,and finds out that influence of agglomeration of producer services on the efficiency of manufacturing has obvious local effect,but there is no space spillover effect.Investment in fixed assets promotes the efficiency of local manufacturing while inhibiting the manufacturing efficiency of surrounding cities.Government action has a positive effect on local manufacturing efficiency,which also radiates into the surrounding area.Similar to the agglomeration effect of producer services,the advanced level of information has local effect,but there is no spatial spillover effect.Finally,based on the theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,this paper puts forward the policy suggestions of making accurate industrial layout of northeast China,improving the level of producer services agglomeration in northeast China,strengthening investment in product innovation by enterprises and government departments,increasing the governments' support for high-tech talents and enterprises,and actively developing the high-tech industries in northeast China.
