Innovation is the soul of a nation.China is steadily implementing an innovationdriven development strategy.In today's rapidly changing market environment,as an important micro foundation of the national economy,enterprises are the main body of national innovation,and employees are the source of enterprise innovation.After entering the 21 st century,the new generation staff has become the main force of the job market.They have grown in the era of reform,opening up and the information age.They have a higher level of education and have formed a stronger learning ability.Their proactive efforts to explore the unknown,and their individual characteristics are conducive to stimulating employees' innovative vitality,work enthusiasm and innovative behavior,and play a very important role in promoting corporate innovation.In recent years,the research perspective on innovative behavior has expanded from the initial discussion of the role of individual traits,psychological characteristics,and work characteristics to factors such as team composition,work situations,and cultural values.How the organization,team and cross-layer factors interact with individual factors at the individual level to influence the creation of innovative behaviors remains to be further analyzed.Based on this,it has important theoretical significance and practical application value to explore the relationship between the personality traits and team context interactions of the new generation staff on employees' innovative behavior.Based on self-determination theory,social embedded model and trait activation theory,this study takes Chinese new-generation staff as the research object,and adopts literature analysis and empirical research methods through SPSS 24.0,Mplus 7.0 and other analysis tools.Based on valid sample data,cross-layer analysis and testing of the relationship between the proactive personality,work thriving,individual innovation behavior,and error management climate of the new generation staff were conducted.The results show that:(1)The proactive personality of the new generation staff has a significant positive impact on their innovative behavior;(2)Work thriving of the new generation staff plays a part of the mediating role in the relationship between the proactive personality and their innovative behavior;(3)The error management climate plays a positive role in cross-layer regulation in the process of proactive personality acting on employee innovation and work thriving acting on employee innovation.The research conclusions have a certain guiding role in the management practice for the new generation staff with active personality traits by improving the climate of error management to promote employees' innovative behavior.Therefore,when recruiting and selecting talents,companies can use proactive personality traits as selection and evaluation indicators,and manage employees according to different personality traits;strengthen the psychological construction of new-generation staff,improve employee work thriving;change work situations,and optimize the climate of error management enhances the courage of employees to try and innovate.
