China is a big agricultural country, ensuring a stable supply of food crops is the key to food security. In recent years, with the tightening of domestic resource constraints, the transfer of agricultural population, and the continuous increase in food imports, the comparative advantage of China's grain has rapidly declined or even lost.Imports of corn, soybeans and other food crops accelerated, and the export speed of wheat, corn and other food crops slowed down. The continued growth of net food imports seriously threatened China's food security strategy of “basic self-sufficiency of grain and absolute safety of rations”.How to prevent further decline in the comparative advantage of food is a serious problem, and it is of great significance to China's future management of grain production and food security.Studies by many scholars have shown that change the elements organizations may brought out new comparative advantages. As a new form of industrial organization, industrial clusters may enhance their original comparative advantages and even create new comparative advantages. At present, there are few studies on agricultural industrial clusters. It is rare to study the relationship between agricultural industrial clusters and comparative advantages of food. This also provides space for studying the impact of agricultural industrial clusters on the comparative advantages of food.Based on the comparative advantage theory and industrial clusters, this paper quantitatively measuring China's grain comparative advantage and agricultural industrial cluster based on dominant comparative advantage and spatial Gini coefficient. The results show that China's grain comparative advantage is in a downward trend, but the decline is in the slowdown trend, while the concentration of agricultural industrial clusters is gradually increasing; Then, construct an empirical model to test the impact of industrial clusters on China's food comparative advantage. The empirical analysis shows that the development of agricultural industrial clusters has a positive impact on China's comparative food superiority. Finally, put forward corresponding policy recommendations based on the theoretical analysis results and empirical analysis results, the aim is to effectively promote the improvement of China's grain comparative advantage and promote its trade competitiveness in domestic and foreign markets.
