Since the 1970 s,financial liberalization and financial integration have been prevailing in the global financial market.Under the influence of this trend,many countries in the world have carried out the exploration and reform of interest rate liberalization.The reform of interest rate liberalization in China has been carried out gradually and slowly since the reform and opening up in the 1980 s.Compared with the reform of product market,the pace of early reform was relatively slow.However,in June 1996,the opening of interbank offered rate represented a qualitative leap in the reform of interest rate liberalization in China.Since then,China has introduced various measures to promote the opening of China's financial market to realize the interest rate liberalization.Market interest rate is of vital importance to the impact of China's financial environment.As is known to all,the operating income of China's commercial Banks mainly depends on the interest income generated by the spread between deposit and loan.Once this profit model changes,it will have a significant impact on the healthy and smooth development of commercial Banks.However,with the opening of the interest rate market,the industry's expectation for the rise of deposit interest rate and the reform of the dual-track interest rate system,the interest rate difference between bank deposits and loans will converge,and the profitability of China's commercial Banks,which rely on the interest rate difference between deposits and loans as the main operating income,will gradually weaken.At the same time,since the financial crisis,China's economic growth has been slowing.Economic structure adjustment,"the Internet finance" development and application,etc.,which makes the internal and external environment change.Banks have gradually,the profit pattern of the original can not adapt to the demand of the new age,the transformation of the business and the business model of commercial Banks is imperative.Taking Suzhou branch of MS joint-stock commercial bank as the research object,this paper first analyzes the current situation of Suzhou and finds out the existing problems and reasons.Using strategic management analysis tools,find out the advantages and disadvantages of Suzhou branch of MS joint-stock commercial bank.After investigation,data analysis and modeling proposed the competitive strategy of Suzhou branch business transformation form differentiation strategy.At the same time,in order to achieve this competitive strategy to increase the development of intermediary business,retail business;Use scientific and technological progress to enhance the service capacity of online and offline channels;Establish an international advanced information service technology platform to reduce operating costs and optimize business processes;Strengthen staff quality training,improve business ability training;Specific measures such as enriching bank functions,strengthening brand image publicity and building core competitiveness are expected to provide references for the business transformation and development of Suzhou branch.
