Supply chain Management has assumed a significant role in firm's performance and has attracted serious research attention over the last few years.Supply Chain Management is a network of facilities that produce raw materials, transform them into intermediate goods and then final products, and deliver the products to customers through a distribution system. The management of the supply chain and the roles of various factors involved differ from industry to industry and company to company.Seaport overseas cooperation is a common phenomenon today, however, the academic research in related topic is limited regardless of quantity or scope. On the other hand, port takes different ways to collaborate with others based on specific objective, however, not all the cooperation could achieve the target due to various reasons such as culture shock, conflict of interest etc.Through our in-depth study,we find that collaborative reasons are various and can be driven by one factor or several factors simultaneously, such as network expansion, environment protection etc.Besides,Chinese terminal operators leading by COSCO Shipping Port and CMPort are expanding rapidly worldwide in recent years, especially along the maritime route of OBOR.On the other hand, port performance is influenced by comprehensive factors from both politics, policies, mutual benefit etc.in long run.The purpose of this study is to determine the underlying dimensions of supply chain management and(SCM)practices to empirically test a framework identifying the relationship among SCM practices, competitive advantage, and firm performance on A case of CMport and Djibouti port. The analysis method is to send a questionnaire and collect data, and use SPSS22.0software for descriptive statistical analysis, reliability analysis, validity analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis, and finally correct the model. In this paper, the following three conclusions are obtained:(1)The present examination gives SCM supervisors a valuable device for assessing theexhaustiveness of their current SCM rehearses. This research has demonstrated the three significant segments of SCM practice—strategic supplier partnership, customer relationship, data sharing.Strategic supply partnership, customer relationship and information sharing in the supply chain management practices all have a significant positive impact on firm performance.(2)Strategic supply partnership, customer relationship and information sharing in the supply chain management practices have a significant positive impact on quality, delivery dependency and product innovation, but the positive effect on cost and time market is not obvious. The cost, quality, delivery dependability, product innovation, time to market in competitive advantage all have positive effect on firm performance.(3)This study innovatively introduces competitive advantage as an intervening variable,to study the effect between supply chain management practices and firm performance, and further explores the mechanism of the influence between supply chain management practices and firm performance.
