With the accelerating process of regional integration, logistics as a pillar industry of conveying production and living factors, has greatly promoted the effective transfer of factors and optimized the allocation of regional resources in the process of rapid urbanization, becoming one of the important sources of urban economic development. And with the transformation of regional research paradigm from "local space" to "flow space",the spatial connection between material flow and regional logistics at different spatial scales has become an important topic in regional economic research.Besides, the Yangtze River Economic Belt is one of the most important river basin economic belts in China. It traverses the eastern, central and western regions along the Yangtze River’s central axis. Therefore,It is very important to develop logistics industry of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.Based on the perspective of evolutionary economic geography, the research mainly discusses the evolution, evolution path and driving mechanism of regional logistics network pattern at the city-level scale.Firstly, this research uses TOPSIS(Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution)based on entropy weight to measure the regional logistics development level of each city, and analyzes the spatial evolution characteristics of regional logistics development level.Secondly, this research uses the gravity model to construct the regional logistics space network, study the spatial and temporal evolution of the network, and analyze the network structure characteristics of the regional logistics spatial connection network through social network analysis.Thirdly, this study constructs the axis-spoke logistics networkchannel construction and identifies the urban group logistics circle based on the Theil index, the fuzzy clustering algorithm, and the logistics membership function. Finally, this study uses spatial econometric model and QAP model to analyze the impact factors formed by the spatial pattern of logistics space network. The conclusions are drawn as following:(1)On the one hand, the spatial differentiation of regional logistics development is more obvious, and it tends to weaken from east to west along the Yangtze River. The Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration, the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, and the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration have a high level of logistics development. The spatial pattern of regional logistics development pattern has changed from “one core multi-point” form to “multi-core” form, showing high agglomeration characteristics, but the level gap phenomenon is still prominent. On the other hand, with the improvement of regional logistics development level in various cities, and the spatial agglomeration situation continues to strengthen.(2)The characteristics of the regional logistics space connection network are characterized by multi-level and compact, and the logistics space linkage potential shows a U-shaped change trend. The pattern of the largest gravitational line is relatively stable overall, and the connection pattern has developed into a multi-core pattern from the initial spatial pattern dominated by Shanghai’s large core. The spatial linkages between cities have formed a "three major group-type" development model. The trend of complexity and synergy is obvious, and the hierarchical level is remarkable. The complexity of the spatial network structure of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, the upper reaches and the middle reaches is gradually weakened. The trend is multi-layered.However,the degree of inter-city logistics space linkage network space is still low, there is room for improvement, and the cities with higher centrality are mainly the Yangtze River Delta cities and the capital cities of the central and western regions. The leading role of the core cities is obvious, driving the continuous development of logistics in the Yangtze River Economic Belt. The spatial relationship between the group development of the regional logistics group is more obvious. The cohesive subgroups generally show a hierarchical dimension reduction distribution along the Yangtze River from east to west.(3)The hierarchy of the logistics circle of the three metropolitan agglomerations is prominent, and the gap among the three metropolitan agglomerations is gradually decreasing. This shows that with the development and expansion of the midstream urban agglomerations and the urbanization strategy in Chengdu-Chongqing-Yunnan-Guizhou region, the gap of logistics development among the urban agglomerations decreases, and the contribution rate to the overall difference also decreases.By identifying the logistics center cities, synthesizing the results of fuzzy clustering and the status quo of urban agglomeration development, the hierarchical hub-and-spoke network structure has been formed. The logistics circles of three major urban agglomerations have been formed in the first-class hub cities of Shanghai,Suzhou,Hangzhou,Wuhan,Changsha,Chengdu and Chongqing, and in the second-class hub cities of Nanjing,Wuxi,Hefei,Nanchang,Kunming and Guiyang.(4)The pattern of regional logistics spatial connection network is formed driven by multiple factors. On the one hand, among the driving factors of the total spatial connection of regional logistics, the driving effect of endogenous forces(economic scale, industrial base, regional innovation level and logistics specialization level)on the improvement of regional logistics level is prominent.Market forces(consumer consumption level)lack the driving force for logistics spatial connection. The extroversion force(location advantage)has a strong driving effect on the total spatial connection pattern of regional logistics. On the other hand,in the driving factors of logistics spatial connection network, multidimensional proximity and network structure effect are obvious.Spatial proximity and cognitive proximity have a positive effect on the formation of regional logistics spatial connection network, while time distance has a negative effect on the formation of regional logistics spatial connection network.Centrality difference and betweenness centrality difference have negative driving effect on regional logistics spatial connection network, while the driving effect of cloneseness centrality difference is dynamic.
