Industrial Cooperation Between Zhejiang And Italy Under The Background Of "Belt And Road"

Italy is China's important partner in Europe,the third largest technology importer in the EU,and a strong supporter of China's "Belt and Road" initiative,in March 2019,China and Italy signed a joint Belt and Road memorandum of understanding,which provides a higher and bigger platform for deepening cooperation in various fields between Zhejiang and Italy and opens a new stage of industrial cooperation between Zhejiang and Italy.However,the current external environment of industrial cooperation between Zhejiang and Italy has undergone tremendous changes.First,with the deepening of economic globalization,international industrial transfer has shown different characteristics from the past,mainly reflected in the mode of industrial transfer and the path of industrial transfer,industrial transfer mode and other aspects.Second,after more than 40 years of reform and opening up,Zhejiang Province has made remarkable achievements in some areas of the manufacturing industry,such as in the field of digital and information has a global competitiveness.Third,with the arrival of a new round of technological and industrial revolution,Zhejiang Province and Italy respectively put forward medium-and long-term development strategies aimed at boosting the manufacturing industry,the strategic alignment between the Made in China 2025 and the Italian Industry 4.0 has opened up new space for industrial cooperation between Zhejiang and Italy in the area of manufacturing.Under the new situation,the industrial cooperation between Zhejiang and Italy has new connotation,new requirements and new features.Affected by the deep-seated global financial crisis,the global virtual economy has been hit hard,and the developed countries,led by the United States,have put forward the corresponding "re-industrialization" strategy to return to the real economy.The manufacturing industry is not only the fundamental place to boost the real economy,but also the main body of the national economy,the foundation for building the country and strengthening the country,and building a manufacturing industry with international competitiveness,it is the only way to upgrade our countryfrom a manufacturing power to a manufacturing power,and from Comprehensive National Power to Chinese creativity.Zhejiang,as a large manufacturing province in China,is an important advanced manufacturing base in the eastern coastal areas of China.The first pilot demonstration city of "Made in China 2025" in China was established in Ningbo,Zhejiang Province.In addition,the economic and trade exchanges between Zhejiang Province and Italy have a long history,and there is a good basis for cooperation between Zhejiang and Italy.Based on the above background and the goal of China's manufacturing power entering the industrialization stage,this paper focuses on Zhejiang Province,which has a close communication with Italy,to analyze how to choose the industrial cooperation in the field of manufacturing.In this paper,we define the industrial gradient and the industrial relevance of the different industries in the manufacturing industry of Zhejiang province through the Quantitative analysis,and calculate the industrial gradient coefficient,the industrial influence Coefficient and the industrial induction coefficient to measure the above two indexes,identify potential industries in Zhejiang's manufacturing industry,and combine the advantages of Italy with the key industries currently developing in Zhejiang Province,it is concluded that the key fields of zhejiang-italy industrial cooperation should be textile industry,textile and garment industry,leather industry,fur industry,feather industry and shoe industry,electrical machinery and equipment industry,metal smelting industry and calendering industry,etc..The industrial fields that the cooperation between Zhejiang and Italy can focus on in the early stage include: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing,general equipment manufacturing,special equipment manufacturing,computer,communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing,automobile manufacturing,etc..Finally,through the empirical research on the factors influencing Italian enterprises' direct investment in Zhejiang Province,it is found that the total import and export trade between Zhejiang Province and Italy has positive effect on promoting Italian enterprises' direct investment in Zhejiang Province.At last,this paper puts forward three policy suggestions to attract Italianenterprises to invest directly in Zhejiang Province and promote the industrial cooperation between Zhejiang and Italy from the angle of promoting the import and export trade between Zhejiang and Italy and the industrial cooperation between Zhejiang and Italy under the new situation.
