With the rapid development of the Chinese economy, the transformation of the market economy, the new business model and the technological change.Entrepreneurs who play an important role in the development of the market economy have to face a variety of complex environments and problems under such changes. In the process of entrepreneurship under the background of change, entrepreneurs have experienced more unimaginable pressure and burnout.hn recent years, people refer to entrepreneurs as "beggars",and the mental health of Chinese entrepreneurs is worrying. In this environment,it is imperative to pay attention to the mental health of entrepreneurs.Early entrepreneurs face a series of daunting potential environmental pressures, heavy workload, urgency of time and high-intensity work.In the initial stage of starting a business, they not only play multiple roles such as founder, investor and manager, but also play the roles of "career man" and "family breadwinner".The multiplicity and complexity of roles in work,as well as the burden from both work and family, make most start-up entrepreneurs experience a high role overload. Some entrepreneurs fail to deal with this kind of pressure, which has a considerable impact on their behavior and the future development of the company. These pressure sources directly lead to burnout, have a great impact on the physical and mental health of the entrepreneurs, and directly endanger the success or failure of the business. Therefore,in such an early environment,it is necessary to explore the impact of role overload on entrepreneurs' emotions and behaviors.Previous studies mostly discussed the impact of job requirements, entrepreneurial pressure and social responsibility on entrepreneurial burnout(Ben Tahar,2014;Wei et al.,2010;Xin et al.,2015),there are relatively few studies on role overload and entrepreneurial burmout, and the intermediate mechanism between them is even less.Based on the theory of identity and resource conservation, this study explores the mediating role of obsession passion in the role overload of start-up entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial burnout, and investigates how the role overload of start-up entrepreneurs influences entrepreneurial burnout through the potential mechanism of obsession passion. In order to alleviate entrepreneurial burnout, perceived social support and recovery experience were introduced as moderators to verify whether there was a moderating effect between obsesssion and entrepreneurial burnout.According to the behavioral logic of "event-emotion-attitude behavior",a mechanism model of "role overload-obsession passion-entrepreneurial burnout" is proposed. In this study,239 valid sample data were collected in multiple provinces through questionnaire survey, and statistical analysis software such as SPSS24.0 and AMOS24.0 were used to conduct a series of analysis on the research data to verify the hypothesis of this paper. The results show that:Firstly, role overload of early-stage entrepreneur affects obsession passion and entrepreneurial burnout, indicating that the more serious role overload of start-up entrepreneurs is 5 the worse the obsession passion and entrepreneurial burnout will be;Secondly, entrepreneurs' obsessive passion for work can affect bumout;Thirdly, obsession passion plays a complete mediating role in the role overload of start-up entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial burnout, that is,the role overload of start-up entrepreneurs influences entrepreneurial burmout through the conduction of obsession passion;Fourthly, perceived social support and recovery experience regulate the relationship between entrepreneurs' obsession passion and entrepreneurial burmout, that is,the higher perceived social support and recovery experience are,the weaker the influence of entrepreneurs' obsessione passion in burnout. Moreover, perceived social support and recovery experience moderated the mediating role of obsession passion in the role overload of start-up entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial burnout. In other words, the higher perceived social support and recovery experience were, the smaller role overload had on entrepreneurial burnout through obsession passion. The research findings in this paper will help us to understand the potential intermediate meohanism and boundary conditions of role overload of start-up entrepreneurs affecting entrepreneurial burnout, and effectively guide the resolution of the negative impact of entrepreneurial burnout.
