Regional credit provides intermediary services for corporate economic activities and is the main channel for capital flows in the domestic market.Foreign trade is the main channel for international capital flows. The circulation of capital affects the spatial agglomeration of economic activities and is regulated by two important means: regional credit and foreign trade. The spatial layout of economic activities is of great significance for promoting regional coordinated development. On the whole, regional credit, foreign trade and economic growth have similar spatial distribution and evolution trends, and they are expressed as positive spatial autocorrelation.Locally, regional credit and foreign trade have positive spillover effects on surrounding cities, similar development strategies are adopted between neighboring cities, and urban competition modes of competition in the eastern regions. The central region adopts a spatial development model of weak competition.Policy advantages, transportation infrastructure and human capital are important factors affecting the economic space agglomeration, and at the same time, they are used as economic space gathering for the influence of regional credit and foreign trade.Based on the existing literature research and current situation analysis, this paper selects the panel data of 280 cities in China from 2004 to 2016,and uses the spatial Dubin model(SDM)to construct the cross-term of regional credit, foreign trade and policy advantages, transportation infrastructure and human capital. And the intersection of regional credit and foreign trade, explore the impact of regional credit, foreign trade and the combination of the two on economic spatial agglomeration, and explore the impact mechanism of regional credit and foreign trade on economic spatial agglomeration. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Regional credit makes the economic activities spatially dispersed, foreign trade promotes the spatial agglomeration of economic activities, and the combined effect of regional credit and foreign trade promotes the spatial dispersion of economic activities and the development of credit scale in a region. It is conducive to increasing the dispersion of foreign trade to economic agglomeration;(2)the increase of regional credit scale is conducive to reducing barriers between cities, weakening the dispersion of policy advantages on economic activities;the increase of regional credit scale will improve transportation infrastructure Investment efficiency, reduce the cost of capital operation, and improve the impact of transportation infrastructure on the agglomeration of economic activities;the increase in regional credit scale reduces the cost of obtaining credit capital, increases the chances of obtaining capital from outside, and promotes human capital to economic activities.(3)Foreign trade inhibits the dispersion of transportation infrastructure to economic agglomeration, increases the economies of scale of production and operation;foreign trade promotes the impact of education on economic agglomeration, which requires higher quality human capital, and the improvement of education provides more innovative and technical talents for economic development, its spillover effect promotes the accumulation of economic activities in space.
