Analysis On The Status Quo And Influencing Factors Of Agricultural Insurance Demand Of Farmers In Gansu Province

Gansu Province is located in the northwest of China's territory.It is located in the middle and upper reaches of the Yellow River.The terrain is high in the west and low in the east.The altitude is very different.The terrain in the territory is complex,and it is a typical mountain topography,mountainous,plain,desert,Gobi and so on.As a result,the climate types in Gansu Province are very complex,and the incidence of natural disasters is relatively frequent,which has great limitations on the development of local agriculture.Limited by geographical location,the local economic development has been relatively backward,GDP has been at the bottom of the provinces in successive years,and Gansu is also a large agricultural province.Agriculture accounts for a high proportion of the economic aggregate of Gansu Province,so it needs agricultural insurance.Avoid various risks in the local agricultural production process.With the continuous advancement of agricultural insurance in the local area,some new problems have emerged.For example,whether the development of agricultural insurance in the local area is smooth and whether it contributes to local agricultural production activities;what factors will affect the participation of local agricultural insurance;local governments,insurance companies and farmers are all local agricultural insurance What is the attitude of the implementation,what are the links between the three,and what difficulties the agricultural insurance will encounter in the local promotion process.Therefore,it is necessary to explore and study these issues.Based on the selection of 820 valid survey data in six cities in Gansu Province,this paper analyzes all aspects of agricultural insurance in Gansu Province by using literature and other data.The influencing factors of the farmer's insurance coverage rate are analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis,and some main factors affecting the purchase of agricultural insurance by local farmers are obtained.Based on the results of the final analysis,this paper proposes from the perspectives of the government,insurance companies and farmers,hoping that agricultural insurance will play a better role in the local area and provide some reference for the development of agricultural insurance in other poverty-stricken areas across the country.
