The Research On Coupling Characteristics Of Functional Urban Spaces Under Urban Renewal In The Old City Of Fuzhou

With the further development of urbanization,it has become an inevitable choice for urban sustainable development to excavate the potential of existing construction land,revitalize the city’s stock of land and enhance the function of the old city through urban renewal.However,in the process of large-scale renovation of the old city,the internal functional space pattern of the city has undergone a profound transformation,the original urban functional space has been reconstructed rapidly,and the layout of urban functional space presents complex characteristics.Therefore,the research on the coupling and differentiation characteristics of urban function space under urban renewal in the old city will provide a scientific basis for the functional remodeling and the formulation of renewal policies in the old urban areas under the background of new urbanization.This paper chooses the old city of Fuzhou as the research object.Firstly,through the qualitative analysis method,this paper combs the renewal process of the old city in Fuzhou since the reform and opening up,and summarizes the main renewal modes of the old city in Fuzhou in the process of renewal.Secondly,based on the vector data of urban land use in the old urban area of Fuzhou in 2000,2009 and 2017,this paper analyzes the transfer relationship between the main urban functional spaces in the process of the renewal of the old city in Fuzhou by using GIS spatial analysis method and transfer matrix method.Again,taking the residential space as the entry point,introducing the dynamic and static coupling degree,this paper constructs a spatial coupling measurement model of urban land use function,and explores the spatial difference characteristics of urban functional space coupling of the old urban area in Fuzhou.Finally,aiming at the problems existing in the practice of renewal and protection of the old city of Fuzhou and the spatial difference characteristics of urban functional space coupling of the old city of Fuzhou,this paper puts forward the optimization strategy of urban functional space coupling.The results show that:(1)The renovation of the old city of Fuzhou has gone through an unsightly and unsuitable transformation from the early stage,which mainly aimed at the internal material space structure of the city itself,to not only solving the existing problem of material aging,but also paying more attention to the structural and functional decline of the city,as well as protecting the traditional cultural problems of the city.The renewal modes of the old city of Fuzhou mainly include four modes: demolition and reconstruction,house renovation,old factory building renovation and historical and cultural protection.Among them,demolition and reconstruction mode is the most important mode of the renovation of the old city in Fuzhou.(2)The renewal of Fuzhou’s old city is mainly based on the renewal of industrial space into residential space and service space.In the process of urban renewal from 2000 to 2017,the residential space expanded rapidly and distributed more evenly,the industrial space decreased sharply and nearly disappeared,the service space continued to increase and the distribution was more reasonable,the ecological space generally stabilized in the old urban area of Fuzhou.(3)The regional difference of urban functional space coupling in the old city of Fuzhou is obvious.Among them,Wufeng Street,Yingzhou Street,Cangshan Town,Dongsheng Street,Linjiang Street and Sancha Street are new functional urban space with a low coupling degree.In the process of urban renewal and transformation in the future,we should flexibly use various renewal and transformation means to update them,speed up the construction of service space and ecological space,promote the further optimization of urban functional space layout,and enhance the coupling coordination between urban functional space.(4)The optimization strategy of urban functional space coupling in the old city of Fuzhou is put forward from four aspects: organic operation of the urban renewal,promoting the transformation of the old city;optimizing the urban spatial structure and improving the urban function;rational layout of the ecological-production-living spaces,enhancing ecological functions;linkage development of new and old urban areas,and optimizing the urban function.
