The hypothesis of "rational man" is the research basis of traditional newsvendors' problem.However,in the empirical research,more and more scholars find that many decision-makers' actual behaviors cannot be explained by this theory,and prove the existence of irrational ordering behavior.Anchoring deviation is a typical phenomenon.The combination of traditional operation management and cognitive psychology will help us to explore the factors that in fluence the irrational behavior of decision makers.The most common form of important decision-making in many large companies today is group decision-making.Therefore,based on the perspective of behavioral operation management,it is meaningful to study the newsvendors' problem.Based on behavioral operation management theory,big five personality theory and emotional intelligence theory,this paper analyzes the influence of personality traits and emotional intelligence on newsboy's ordering behavior in individual and group decision-making situations by using the experimental research method.The research shows that there are obvious anchoring deviations in both individual and group decision making,and by comparing the results of group decision making an d individual decision making,it is found that group anchoring deviations are smaller than individual anchoring deviations,and group decision making performance is better than individual decision making under the condition of low marginal profit.Secondly,the paper examines the mechanism of big five personality,emotional intelligence and their interaction on the anchoring tendency and decision-making performance of newsboy ordering decisions.There was a significant positive correlation between the level of emotional stability of the group and the decision-making performance under the condition of low marginal profit.The four dimensions of emotional intelligence and the overall emotional intelligence have different correlation with anchoring bias and decision performance.The assessment and expression of individual agreeableness and overall emotional intelligence,conscientiousness and self-emotion have significant interaction with the central tendency deviation under low marginal conditions.The agreeabl eness of the group and the overall emotional intelligence have significant interaction with the degree of demand pursuit under high and low marginal conditions.In addition,the group agreeableness and the ability to use emotion have significant interactio n with the anchoring deviation under the condition of low marginal profit.Regardless of the level of openness,the ability to use emotions has a significant negative influence on the degree of demand pursuit.This paper enriches the research on the influence of big five personality traits and emotional intelligence on newsboy's ordering decision-making behavior,and the conclusion has certain theoretical significance for the research on supply chain management,and provides references for enterprises to re cruit staff,build teams and reduce decision-making deviation.
