After joining the world trade organization in 2001,China's economy has made great strides,and has been the largest car consumer market in the world.In recent years,automatic driving,new energy automobile and vehicle networking,the competition of transboundary is with the information revolution ready to transform the automobile industry.Independent brand vehicle companies and domestic parts company in technology and the market share of voice rising steadily.The competition pattern in China is constantly changing.The joint venture brand vehicle company and the global components suppliers is losing its competitive advantage.How to face the huge and fierce competition is a challenge for multinational automotive parts companies.The article analyzes that advantages and disadvantage of Z company in China market by using SWOT tool to show the opportunity and challenge of Z company in China,based on its external macroenvironment and the state of operation in China.Then focus Z company R&D management tools and standardized application analysis of product design process,and according to the basic principles of standardization and R&D management,it points to the problems encountered by Z company in applying the standardization process and assisting with the support of cases.In problem solving part,this paper proposes to standardize R&D projects to solve the problem of long R&D cycle,aiming at the demand of the independent brand products with high flexibility,short cycle and low cost.To propose a standardized design process to increase product development flexibility;Put forward "two brands" strategy and the establishment of the core R&D,make up for the no low-cost products.With the continuous expansion of the size and scale of China's automobile market and the rise of self-owned brands and domestic parts companies,it is one of the skills for international parts companies to survive in the Chinese market that they dare to carry out reform and innovation on the global standardized management and product development process for the Chinese market.
