Research On Organizational Construction's Optimization For Hebei Logistics Industry Group Co., Ltd.

With the fast development of economic globalization and Informationization, logistics has become an important sign of measuring the level of modernization and comprehensive national strength. Our government pays great attention to the development of logistics and does a lot to support and guide its development through making public policies. In recent years, logistics maintains an annual increase of about 20% on the average. The formal material circulation enterprises take the lead of transformation and play an important part in logistics industry. Since 1993 when the Ministry of Material was revoked, the formal material circulation enterprises have gone through a long period of severe test of market competition. Most state-owned enterprises have executed corporation reform, share holding reform and large-company-large-group strategy; whereas organization structure still follows the linear function as in the planned economy. This structure doesn't adapt for the expansion of scale and business diversification, and has refinement on the growth of the companies. This research has studied the organization structure optimization of Hebei Logistics Group. Hope the research can be some help to this coporation and other companies in the same line.Organization structure optimization is essential to Hebei Logistics Group either in enhancing its competitive forces or in long-term development. This article generalizes this coporation's organizations, organization structure designs and organization structure reforms. Questionnaire, interview and consulting information etc. are used for investigation and survey when getting the basic information of this coporation. The research analyzes the coporation's main problems such as strong color of administration, irregular organization structure, incomplete corporate governance structure, hierarchies of management, multi-command and unclear responsibility. Through comparison analysis and factor analysis, the research sets up a multi-type organization structure for the Group which is the combination of Pyramid's Holding Company Structure and Multidivisional Structure and Ring Structure. Different organization structure is applied to different subsidiaries. Mother company should strengthen management system. Logistics and trade companies own the mutual share to form a ring structure to help develop the main business of the Group. The research also provides organization structure design and implementation steps and measures.
