Research On The Development Of Zhanjiang Development Zone Industrial Tourism

Industrial tourism is a combination of tourism and industry.This new type of tourism isalready very popular in some countries and regions at the beginning of its birth.In China,it is a new thing with a bright future,since it gets more and more attention from the public.This paper analyses the current research on industrial tourism in China and abroad from the perspective of industrial merge,describes the feasibility study of the industrial tourism in the Zhanjiang economic & technological development zone and builds the development model base on the situation of this area,which in turn provides policy recommendations and theoretical base for government and the local industrial enterprises.This paper is divided into seven parts.Part 1: Introduction.The first part expounds the background,research purpose and significance of this subject,to straighten out the research ideas,methods and technical line.Part 2: The theoretic basis of industrial tourism.This part describes the concepts of industrial tourism,the theory of industrial convergence and the significance of industrial tourism,than confirmed the theoretical basis of this article.Part 3: The research of the development practice and the research situation of industrial tourism in China and abroad.The purpose is to have a general understanding of the research level and development status of industrial tourism.Part 4: The basic situation and the status of tourism development in the economic development zone of Zhanjiang.This part is in order to provide the realistic basis for the feasibility analysis of industrial tourism in the economic development zone of Zhanjiang.Part 5: The feasibility analysis of industrial tourism in the economic development zone of Zhanjiang.According to the questionnaire survey and the result of SWOT,clear the feasibility of industrial tourism in this area.The results are valuable for decision-making of the tourism destination.Part 6: The research on the development strategy of industrial tourism in the economic development zone of Zhanjiang.This part mainly proposes three industrial tourism development patterns: integrated exploitation development pattern,cooperative development between enterprises pattern,and region segment development pattern.These patterns would be helpful for government and the local industrial enterprises to develop industrial tourism.Part 7: Summary and vision.Finally,the article summarized the full text and analyzed the limitations of this study and future research directions.
