The official release of the state council several opinions on promoting the construction development of Hainan international tourism island on January 4,2010,marks the construction of hainan international tourism island to become the country's major strategic deployment.In recent years,seizing this policy opportunity energetically promote the development of tourism,Hainan in the tourism industry both quantity and quality has made great progress.But from tourism area development degree in Hainan province,there are obvious "strong in the east,weak in the west" characteristics of the imbalance of regional development.This regional unbalanced development directly influences and restricts the Hainan tourism economy in the western regions and even the entire construction of international tourism in Hainan island.At present,the development of seaside tourism practice in the western Hainan is still at the preliminary exploration stage,and tourism resources development and utilization has far lag behind the urgent needs of the reality,and potential of tourism resources has not really into the reality of tourism economic benefits.Further research of both practitioners and scholars,is not enough.This paper focuses on a proactive,strategic,innovative subject,further systemmatically research the research proposition of under the background of international tourism island construction the strategy of seaside tourism development in the western Hainan.It has the important theory value and the positive practical significance for the strategy innovation of the western coastal tourism development,harmonious overall and thorough going efforts to promote the overall development of Hainan tourism practice and achieving the grand goal of construction of international tourism island in Hainan.This dissertation aims to building seaside tourism development strategy in the western Hainan under the background of the construction of international tourism island.Its basic thoughts is raising,analizing and solving problems.Combined the use of Literature study,case study,comparative study,this dissertation defined the concepts of coastal tourism,introduced some theoretical basis such as sustainable development theory,experience economy theory,tourism location theory.On the basis of the analysis of Hainan coastal tourism development conditions and present situation,this dissertation analyzed the opportunities,threats,advantages and disadvantages in the development of the western coastal tourism in Hainan,expected to puting forward seaside tourism development strategy under the background of the construction ofinternational tourism island in the western Hainan.There are 5 chapters in this dissertation,and are divided into five parts.Part I:introduction(chapter ?),analyzed the research background,summarized the related documents,raised the issue of research,and designed the research ideas.Part II: study foundation(chapter ?),definited core concepts of seaside tourism,analyzed the theoretical foundation of seaside tourism.Part III: the analysis of development strategic(chapter ?),systematically analyzed the development characteristics,and opportunities,threats,advantages and disadvantages of seaside tourism in the western Hainan.Part ?: puting forward development strategy(chapter ?),Systemmatically discussed development strategy of seaside tourism in the western Hainan under the background of the construction of international tourism island.Part ? : conclusion(chapter ?),summarized the conclusions and deficiencies of this dissertation,and prospected the problems which need to study in-depth in the future.
