Evaluation Study Of Coastal Tourism Resources In Hainan Island

The 21st century is the century of ocean. For its unique attractiveness,coastal tourism is widely paid attention to, becoming one of the fastest development area. Hainan island is the only tropical island, its coastal tourism development has become a hot research topic, especially after international tourism island being promoted as national strategy. Coastal tourism resources, which are object for developing coastal tourism activities, as well as prerequisites and physical basis for coastal tourism development, have great significance to the development of regional coastal tourism. However, the scientific evaluation to the coastal tourism resource comes first.The research starts from the evaluations of tourism resources at home and abroad. And it is based on analysis of research approaches,content and research direction, the understanding of related concepts and evaluation methods,as well as the applicant of Classification, Investigation and Evaluation of tourism resources(GB/T 18972-2003), in order to evaluate regional tourism resource condition to further evaluate and make sure the roles and classifications of Hainan coastal counties and cities.The research focuses on establishing coastal tourism resources evaluation system of Hainan island, with the evaluation of coastal tourism resource objects and regional coastal tourism resource conditions as the supporting system. In the process of empirical analysis, the research takes investigation, classification and evaluation of coastal tourism resource objects in Hainan island, as well as a comprehensive analysis. In the evaluation of regional tourism resource condition, the research employs fuzzy clustering evaluation analysis, the result is objective and factual, coinciding with the realities.
