Research On The Development Characteristics And Evaluation Of Innovation Ability Of Central Cities In China

Since China proposed a major strategy for building the innovative country,building innovative cities has also become the primary development goal of each city.As the main body of urbanization,each central city has also proposed the goal of building an innovative city.In the process of implementing the innovative city strategy,the central city needs to play a leading role in regional coordination and a supporting role in the national innovation system.Continuously improve the city's independent innovation capabilities,and strive to achieve the second transformation of the economic development mode.China has now entered the tackling phase of building an innovative country by 2020,but the construction of innovative cities is still in its infancy.The qualitative change from a traditional factor-driven to an innovation-driven strategy has not been completed.Therefore,a comprehensive analysis of the characteristics of innovation-driven urban development and the level of innovation capabilities are of great significance not only to enhance the city's independent innovation capabilities and promote the transformation of economic development models,but also to accelerate the rapid realization of China's innovative national goals.Therefore,this article takes China's prefecture-level cities and above as the research object,and uses the combined patent data and labor data of the city to try to analyze and research the innovation capabilities and development characteristics of China's central cities at multiple levels and angles.The main conclusions reached through research:(1)Based on the joint patent data between cities and further research on the characteristics of the innovation network structure among cities at and above the prefecture level in China,it was found that China's innovation pattern still showed a "strong east and weak west" geographically,coastal cities have maintained a better trend of innovation and development.The core position of innovation that occupies China's urban innovation network structure is mainly municipalities directly under the Central Government and provincial capitals.Among them,cities with strong innovation radiation capabilities have closer internal innovation links,while cities with weak innovation radiation capabilities have similar development characteristics and are more concentrated.According to the innovation radiating ability of each city,it analyzes the influence mechanism of innovation subject,innovation platform,innovation environment and innovation policy on urban innovation ability.(2)In the multi-dimensional comparative study of my country's central city labor force data,it is divided into high-tech and production service class labor and general service class labor according to different occupational labor.it was found that the developed regions' coastal regions have a much higher ability to attract high-tech and production-service labor force than the central and western regions,and the degree of concentration of innovative talents in cities of different sizes is also different.With the continuous development and maturity of Chinese metropolises,it has gradually become a leader in the innovative economy and population agglomeration in the new era.In the new round of human capital competition in metropolises,as the urban labor force grows and changes,it also affects the urban regional economic development.(3)Through the establishment of an evaluation index system for the construction of innovative cities and an empirical analysis of urban innovation and development.According to the comprehensive innovation ability of the research object,it is divided into five levels,and the whole presents a diamond-shaped structure system,and the urban innovation ability classification system has obvious regional distribution characteristics.on this basis,relevant suggestions and countermeasures for the construction of innovative cities are put forward.Every city should pay attention to improving the innovation system,optimizing the innovation environment,and creating a good development pattern,so as to gather innovative talents,enhance the city's innovation ability,and increase the momentum and vitality of the city's economy,so as to promote the rapid realization of China's innovative national goals.
