| It has become a national strategy to build the Yangtze river delta into a leading demonstration area for the implementation of the new development concept and to build it into a world-class city cluster with global competitiveness.However,China’s economic development has already entered a new normal,and the industrial development model in the Yangtze river delta region has long been in the traditional extensive development stage characterized by high input,low energy efficiency and low added value.To realize the optimization and upgrading of the Yangtze river delta industry is an important way to break the bottleneck of the Yangtze river delta under the background of the new normal.It is worth exploring whether the Yangtze river delta,which has a leading edge in informatization development,can use this new driving force to achieve industrial upgrading.On the basis of summarizing and sorting the related literatures of predecessors,the research of this paper is mainly carried out from two aspects: theoretical analysis and empirical test.Theoretical part mainly based on the asymmetric information theory to explain regional informatization strengthened the intensity of competition between local micro enterprises,and from the information as a new kinetic energy to industrial upgrading by relying on the initial kinetic energy of originally,the so-called "old" kinetic energy better conformity and optimization point of view,from a technical upgrades,element structure upgrade and market three aspects of informatization mechanism and path of industrial upgrading works.In the empirical test part,this paper USES the internal data of a-share listed companies in the Yangtze river delta region from 2007 to 2017,and matches them with the regional macro panel data of the same period.The total factor productivity of listed companies,which represents the added value of enterprises,is taken as a micro indicator of industrial upgrading,and a comprehensive indicator of the informatization level of the location of listed companies is constructed.Control variable parts inside the enterprise and at the same time,on the basis of,respectively,by using the fixed effects model,parallel multiple mediation model and multiple multi-step mediation model,the empirical test of informatization of industrial upgrading,Yangtze river delta region,the influence of the different upgrade of industry value chain,the mediation effect of regional informatization and industry upgrading,etc.The empirical test results of this paper show that: first,the overall situation of the upgrading of low value-added industries to high value-added industries in the Yangtze river delta region is mainly the most prominent performance of Shanghai.The industrial upgrading results of jiangsu province and zhejiang province have a small difference after Shanghai,and anhui province ranks the last.In recent years,the industrial upgrading of three provinces and one city in the Yangtze river delta region has achieved a lot on the whole,but there are still significant differences among different administrative regions.Second,regional informatization has become a new driving force for industrial upgrading in the Yangtze River Delta.Compared with the early stage when informatization was insufficient to promote industrial upgrading,at the present stage,regional informatization has promoted TFP of listed companies in the Yangtze River Delta,showing new vitality.For every unit increase in the level of regional informatization,the level of industrial upgrading in the Yangtze river delta will increase by about 4.96% on average,which passes the significance level test of 1%.By replacing the explained variables and using different models for robustness test,the sign and significance of the coefficients of the core explanatory variables remained unchanged.This shows that the conclusion that regional informatization has become the new driving force of industrial upgrading represented by the increase of added value in the Yangtze river delta region has strong reliability.For different industries,the industry upgrading results in the Yangtze river delta region are generally better than other industries,including electricity,heat,gas and water production and supply,wholesale and retail,and scientific research and technology services.Third,the direct effect of regional informatization promoting industrial upgrading accounted for 77.35% of the total effect,while the indirect effect accounted for 22.65%.Product market upgrading plays an intermediary role in promoting industrial upgrading in the Yangtze river delta by regional informatization,and this intermediary effect accounts for about 11.43% of the total effect.The upgrading of factor structure can only promote the industrial upgrading directly,but the indirect effect is not significant.In the Yangtze river delta region,technological upgrading has not yet had any effective promotion effect on industrial upgrading.In addition,in the process of promoting the upgrading of product market,regional informatization will exert a reverse inhibitory effect on industrial upgrading due to crowding out resources needed for the upgrading of factor structure.In view of the above conclusions,this paper gives policy Suggestions from three aspects.First,the Yangtze river delta region should break down administrative barriers as soon as possible,strengthen regional integration,further strengthen market vitality and ensure regional equity,and finally promote the industrial upgrading of the whole Yangtze river delta region.Second,the Yangtze river delta region should vigorously improve the level of regional information,improve the information infrastructure,accelerate the process of industry digitization and digital industrialization.Thirdly,the mediating effect of various factors should be considered in the application of regional information means.The government should guide enterprises to make full use of local information resources and adjust their coping strategies rapidly under the background of increasingly fierce market competition. |
