Suitability Of Human Settlement In The Gongcheng Yao Autonomous County

In recent years,with the acceleration of the process of urbanization,the phenomenon of one-sided pursuit of the expansion of urban scale and space expansion can be found everywhere,which resulted in a series of urban development problems.In order to meet the people's needs for a better life,the national government has paid more attention to the protection of natural environment,to improve various livelihood security systems,and to harmonize man and nature.The new type of urbanization is actually building a town that is satisfying and suitable for the people.The suitability of human settlement is particularly important,and it has gradually become the basis for testing the success of the new type of urbanization.In this context,based on the assmentment of human settlement at home and abroad,an objective assessment system for human settlement in Gongcheng Yao autonomous county was builded by following the principle for establishment of human settlement index system,which included ecological environment,economic environment,social environment,infrastructure environment and cultural environment.The main results were showed as follows:(1)An objective evaluation study based on objective data found that the comprehensive index of human settlement environment gradually increased from 2009 to 2018.It increased from-1.220 in 2009 to 1.147 in 2018,and the growth rate was faster with an average annual increase of 0.312 after 2015.The five base-level subsystems were developing steadily,with the largest increase in ecological environment and the smallest increase in human environment,but there was no significant difference among them.(2)The subjective evaluation was based on the 312 questionnaire data obtained by online and offline surveys of local residents,and a multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was applied to analyze the factors affecting the development of human settlements.The results showed that the overall satisfaction of the five subsystems was relatively high,and 25 of the 43 specific indicators had high satisfaction score(higher than 7),accounting for 58.1% of the total.Among them,the satisfaction score of the ecological environment was the highest at 7.3738,and the satisfaction score of the economic environment was relatively low at 6.4056.(3)The subjective and objective evaluation results indicated that the suitability of human settlements in Gongcheng Yao Autonomous County had increased year by year,with social security and stability,steady economic development,gradual improvement of infrastructure,proper ecological environment protection,and good cultural heritage protection.Although some achievements have been made in the construction of human settlements,there were still many problems that need to be solved and improved,such as lackage of stamina for economic development,low urbanization rate,et al.(4)The countermeasures for optimizing the human settlement in Gongcheng Yao autonomous county were proposed in this study.For example,ecological environment should be improved continuously;economic environment should be enhanced;social environment need to be improved comprehensively;infrastructure environment need to be perfected,and the improvement of human environment should be strengthened.
