The Research Of Dongxiang Autonomous County's Human Capital Accumulation Issue

The development of economics and society is not only the key to revitalization of a nation, but also the basis for narrowing the development gap between nations and solving the ethnic issue effectively. Therefore, our present efforts to develop the economic and social undertakings of the minority nationality, is not only the requirement of minority's own prosperity and development, but also the requirement of maintaining the equality and unity among nations, and promoting common prosperity and progress of all nations.Dongxiang Autonomous County is located in the southwest of Gansu Province and has a population of more than 80% of China's Dongxiang nation. After the founding of new China, Dongxiang Autonomous County's economy has been gradually developed. However, Compared with most other minority nationality of our county, with the requirements of the China's modernization development, with the reality and trend of the current world economics, society and cultural development, Dongxiang Autonomous County is still in quite a state of backwardness and poverty, and even compared with the most parts of Gansu Province and other ethnic groups, Dongxiang Autonomous County in general also belongs to the most underdeveloped regions. There are many factors that restrict the development of Dongxiang County's economics, such as lacking natural resources, the harsh natural conditions, the underinvestment of Human Capital, the low level of human capital accumulation, and so on. However, the writer thinks that we can not change natural conditions easily, but we can change the human factors that affect the development of economics by effective ways, such as improving the level of human capital accumulation, to promote the development of economics.The study of this paper is Dongxiang Autonomous County, the writer analyses the reasons of Dongxiang Autonomous County's slow economic development from the perspective of human capital accumulation, using the method of combining qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, and on the basis of absorbing and referencing the theories of regional economics and development economics. The writer thinks that the main cause restricting Dongxiang Autonomous County's economic development is the low levels of human capital accumulation, and in this base, the writer analyzes the problem of Dongxiang Autonomous County's Human Capital Accumulation deeply, tries to draw some conclusions that benefit to improve the level of Dongxiang Autonomous County's Human Capital Accumulation.
