Study On Layout Optimization Of Rural Settlement At County Level Based On Gis

The basis of social harmony and stability is the construction and development of rural. There are many problems existing in rural residential land in china, such as lack of planning, large area occupied, scattered layout and so on. At the same time, with the acceleration of urbanization, the contradiction between the increasing urban construction land and the shortage of cultivated land is becoming obvious. So, how to formulate a scientific program of rural residential layout optimization has great significance in improving the rural residential land intensive use and potential, alleviating the pressure of insufficient supply of urban construction land, and increasing arable land and promoting the construction of the new countryside.Suitability evaluation of Land is the early stage of land planning. At present, research on suitability evaluation in china is more focused on agricultural land and urban construction land than rural construction land. This paper take Pingyi County as an example, with the new round of land planning and site survey data, carried out the layout and consolidation suitability evaluation of rural settlement. Then according to the evaluation results, classified the type of rural settlement, and formulated the program of rural settlement layout optimization, provided a theoretical basis for the rural residential planning in the new round of land planning.(1) Suitability Evaluation of Rural Settlement LayoutOn the base of study background, according to the actual situation of the study area, define evaluation units; from the topography, socio-economic status and geographic conditions, construct index system for suitability evaluation of rural settlement; apply analytic hierarchy process (AHP), to determine factors'affecting weight; application ArcGIS 9.3 spatial analysis; determine the appropriate rural settlement area in Pingyi county. Evaluation results show that:rural settlement in Pingyi county restricted by the region is obvious, suitable layout area accounts for 34.64% of the total land area; more appropriate for 33.48%; marginally suitable layout area for 17.81%; unsuitable for the layout area for 14.07%.(2) Suitability Evaluation of Rural Settlement ConsolidationBased on the result of suitability evaluation of rural settlement layout, combined with micro-state of villages, construct index system for suitability evaluation of rural settlement consolidation, then using the Delphi method to determine the weight of each factor; application ArcGIS 9.3 spatial analysis determine the suitability region. Evaluation results show that:11.55% of the villages are appropriate for consolidation; 26.64% of the villages are more appropriate for consolidation; 61.81% of the village unsuitable for consolidation.(3) Study on Rural Settlement Layout OptimizationAccording to the results of suitability evaluation, divide the rural settlements into resident village, centre village, maintaining village and relocation village. Resident Villages use development model with urbanization and gradually move to the county and town resident; relocation villages gradually move to the center village, after reasonable layout, building a modern residential community; Maintaining villages use Control mode with village reconstruction, formed a rural residential layout optimization program of Pingyi county.
