Poverty is a dynamic concept that changes with the times and economic development.Today,as we are getting closer to eradicating absolute poverty, poverty will exist in new forms and conditions. From the perspective of regional economic development,Zhejiang Province, which is at a relatively high level of regional economic development, announced in 2015 that it had eliminated absolute poverty across the province.Regardless of poverty alleviation practices and academic research, research on rural relative Poverty has become the focus of the whole society.Studying the rural relative poverty in economically developed provinces can provide a useful reference for China's rural anti-relative poverty after the absolute poverty eradication problem is fully realized in the future. The main part of the article first introduces the relevant theoretical basis of poverty from three aspects: the connection and difference between absolute poverty and relative poverty, the progress of poverty research, and the classic theory of poverty, and defines the concept of relative poverty on the basis of previous studies.,Measurement methods, attribution research, relative poverty management countermeasures were reviewed and reviewed.Secondly, collect data, including designing questionnaires, issuing pre-questionnaires,revising questionnaires, and field surveys.Based on research needs,we designed indicators on rural relative poverty in Zhejiang based on literature research and combining the reality of Zhejiang rural areas, and then borrowed the questionnaire data The per capita income and per capita consumption indicators in the collection, cluster analysis method to classify and identify relative poverty, and found that a large number of groups in rural areas of Zhejiang Province are in relative poverty. This only represents the scope of the rural area of this province. Some groups are in a disadvantaged position compared with another group, but this is not inconsistent with the poverty alleviation achievements that have been achieved in the rural areas of Zhejiang. Finally, the data collected from the questionnaires were used for descriptive statistical analysis, and a logistic regression model was used to study the influencing factors of rural relative poverty in Zhejiang from the perspectives of individual and family heads of rural households, economic dimensions, social capital dimensions, location features, and industrial development. It is found that there is a U-shaped relationship between the age of the head of household and the incidence of relative poverty.Relative poverty mostly occurs in households with young or old heads of households.Households with large family size and large dependency ratio have a high probability of falling into relative poverty. The impact on relative poverty is not significant;households lacking fixed assets and household income sources mainly from agriculture are more prone to falling into relative poverty;there is a negative correlation between the health status, education status of the head of the household and the incidence of relative poverty.Households with important social capital have a lower probability of falling into relative poverty.Party members or rural cadre families as traditional social capital are not significant in reducing the incidence of relative poverty;from the perspective of the relationship between rural location characteristics and industrial development and relative poverty The proximity to the township government, the development of characteristic industrial cooperatives, and the development of rural tourism play a significant role in reducing the incidence of relative poverty among rural families.
