Research On Index Of Printer Key Parts Suppliers' Selection And Evaluation

The key parts of import and export printers refer to technology integration module which has a significant impact on the quality and function of a printer and has a high unit price of customized modules,including original consumables and service accessories.These key parts usually need be purchased separately by customers.Based on environmental protection and corporate social responsibility,all printer enterprises establish corresponding recycling policies for their key parts.However,the risk identification of recycling process is not robust and the effectiveness of countermeasures is weak.It leads recycling results are not ideal.One of contributors is:there are some processes'holes exist among suppliers of key parts,when key parts are recycled and scrapped.It increases the risk of circulation of key parts in the gray market and environmental pollution,which seriously impact on the profit and market reputation of printer enterprises Therefore,the establishment of a comprehensive key supplier selection and evaluation system has become an important topic for printer enterprises how to manage their key parts suppliers effectively.Firstly,this paper has a literature review related to purchasing activities,supplier selection and evaluation in the past five years.This paper also illustrates the relevant scholars research on supplier management of mobile phone accessories and medical consumables,which are similar to the profit model of printer industry.Then,based on supplier survey forms from several large-scale printer enterprises and historical performance of 111 suppliers related to printer business,the paper analyzes current key supplier selection criteria and common indexes,re-classifies them for continuous improvement.Furthermore,in order to reduce the risk of circulation of key parts in the gray market and environmental pollution,the strengthen environmental protection index and trade security index is added into key supplier selection and evaluation system.Three rounds of questionnaire distributed to the printer industry experts to unify their opinions.Based on the results of questionnaire,a new supplier selection and evaluation model is built:seven 1^stlevel indexes and 24 2^nd level indexes.The weights of all indexes are given by AHP.Then,simulate scoring for three suppliers to get the best one by using the model.Printer experts recognize enhanced environmental protection index and trade security index added into the model.Finally,taking A company's purchasing activities and processes as an example,this paper verifies the new supplier selection and evaluation system is adequate and effective.The process hole in key parts supplier management is identified and fixed and it protects the profits of A company at some extent.Top management team is satisfied with the final result.
