It is also a basic manner toimprove the operational efficiency of the supply chain and strengthen the collaborationof the mechanism of supply chain. The establishment of strategic partnership withsuppliers will have a significant impact on product quality, cost, delivery lead time,inventory levels and R&D.The automobile industry is a large-scale comprehensive industrial; a procurementof spare parts of Car Company can have hundreds of different suppliers. For thesupplier selection of automotive industry, require substantial investment of resourcesand energy，and looking for quick and effective method. The establishment of ascientific and reasonable evaluation index system for auto parts supplier, take a fastand effective evaluation of suppliers, has become an urgent need for the automotiveindustry.So this paper choose partners of auto parts supplier selection and evaluation as theresearch object, start from methods of present situation and problems on the supplierevaluation index system and evaluation of home and abroad. Combine the quantitativeand qualitative analysis, choose a practical and scientific evaluation index， set aselection and evaluation index system for auto parts supplier which contains6levelindicators: the level of quality control, supplier service ability, operation ability, thesupplier’s relative competitive ability, cooperation ability and the ability ofinformation technology. And accordingly put forward a supplier partner selectionevaluation model-based on the overall weight of TOPSIS supply chain partnersevaluation model，hoping to have a valuable use for automobile manufacture choosethe right suppliers.
