With the rapid change of times,globalization has become a theme of current times.At present,the electronic industry is the most thoroughly globalized and marketized field,and it is also regarded as a sunrise industry with a broad market prospect.In recent years,the whole electronics industry has been developing rapidly and leading other industries.However,the novel coronavirus outbreak in 2020 has a great impact on economic globalization,which makes the competition more fierce and cruel in the market,as well as the reality of short life cycle for the product in the electronics industry,customers loan the demonstration equipment from equipment suppliers for trial production,and purchase the brand-new equipment after the mass production,gradually replacing the original direct purchase of equipment before.More and more equipment suppliers have to accept the new rules in the industry and meet the customer's needs.N company,as a team member in this industry,is the leader of the dispensing equipment supplier for hot melt adhesive,in order to grab this market share,also has to choose to accept the rule rather than quit,leading to loaning more demonstration equipment to the customers for use gradually.Therefore,the management of the demonstration equipment at the customer's site also becomes the key to the company's business development,and the actual performance for demonstration management directly affects the company's revenue and expenditure.Therefore,how to strengthen internal and external management and bring advantages to the company through the optimization on rental management of demonstration equipment has become the core issue of this study for N company.N company is regarded as the study object in this thesis,by looking up a lot of documentations related to equipment management,learning some representative academic rules and regulation in regards to equipment management,referring to some advanced management method and theoretical knowledge associated with the equipment management,providing a solid theoretical basis in the equipment management for N company.First of all,the superficial phenomenon for the cost of new applied demonstrative equipment has been raising every year is an issue in recent years,as well as the current management situation of demonstration equipment,using the Workflow management software to analyze data for company's rental equipment,from the aspects of loan cycle and management process,the existing problems in equipment rental management are revealed,and the reasons for the problems are analyzed.The corresponding optimization is proposed,and the optimization is implemented and the effect after optimization is evaluated.The study results show that :(1)Three problems,average long loan period to customers,long cycle period in the loan process and abnormal cycle period,are found in the equipment rental management for N company.(2)The main reasons for these problems are that salesmen were lack of country and industry analysis for the new customers,the cumbersome approval process for equipment rental management,and salesmen are lack of insufficient sense for on-site equipment management and implementation of Workflow system.(3)Starting from the principle of optimization,the optimization of rental management of demonstration equipment for N company is carried out from the aspects of customer selection,personnel management,and approval process.Specifically,in terms of customer selection,a customer evaluation system is established to help the sales staff classify and pick up customers.In terms of personnel management,optimizing the stuff responsibilities and organizational structure,and using performance management and incentive management to improve the enthusiasm of employees,so as to achieve better management of on-site equipment and Workflow system implementation in time.In terms of the approval process,process optimization can reduce the approval steps and improve work efficiency.(4)Via the optimization implementation,the turnover rate of equipment at the customer's site is improved,and the optimization for company N is evaluated to determine whether the target set at the initial stage was reached.The conclusion of this study can help enterprises to further improve,can also provide the corresponding reference for other electronic equipment suppliers in the optimization of equipment rental management.
