As an important part of corporate assets, equipment not only constitutes the basis of production activities, but also plays a fundamental role in improving the operation benefits of an enterprise. Therefore, the equipment management level casts a direct impact on its productivity and then determines the corporate economic efficiency. However, there exist many problems in the equipment management of CSR Wind Power(CSRWP) as a result of various causes and even compared with domestic counterparts, CSRWP still falls far behind in the equipment management.Due to lacking scientific and thorough system as well as effective informational operation, the backward equipment management impedes the development of CSRWP more and more seriously with its ever-increasing production scale in recent years.Taking account of above backgrounds, the paper focuses on theories and methods which can improve the equipment management of CSRWP.Surveys in extensive literature illustrate that Lean Production is a popular production pattern among foreign large companies, which can most probably ameliorate the equipment management of CSRWP when used in that area. Therefore, the paper firstly describes the theory of Lean Equipment Management(LEM) in detail and then analyzes thoroughly the causes which lead to the deficiency in the equipment management of CSRWP as well as difficulties CSRWP confronts currently. Secondly, the concept and method of LEM are specifically applied in the practical production management to establish an optimization method as well as an evaluation system towards the life cycle of apparatus. The methodology of cultivating LEM personnel are also discussed. Thirdly, taking how tospeed up the construction of information management of equipment for example, the implementation model of LEM in CSRWP are carefully studied. Last, the favorable results of initial implementation of LEM verify the its feasibility to improve the equipment management level of CSRWP.
