Over the past 40-plus years of reform and opening up,China has witnessed rapid economic growth,rapid financial development,gradual optimization of its industrial structure and fundamental changes in business conditions,creating one after another "Chinese miracle".However,behind the rapid development lies a series of problems accumulated after 40 years of rapid growth,which have exposed the defects of industrial structure and the shortcomings of extensive growth,as well as prominent problems such as low level of technological innovation and imbalance of financial structure.In order to realize the new development mode supported by innovation and driven by technology,this paper comprehensively analyzes and discusses the coupling and coordination relationship among China’s technological innovation,financial development and industrial structure,which has practical significance for promoting the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure and promoting highquality economic development.Firstly,this paper reviews the theories and researches on technology innovation,financial development and industrial structure at home and abroad,providing theoretical basis and research ideas for the follow-up research.Secondly,based on the panel data of 31 provinces(cities,autonomous regions)in 2001-2017,this paper empirically analyzes the dynamic evolution process and mechanism of the coordinated development relationship among technological innovation,financial development and industrial structure by using the system coupling model.Then,based on the panel data of 31 provinces(cities and autonomous regions)in 2001-2017,this paper uses the spatial autocorrelation analysis method to explore the spatial distribution pattern and its correlation characteristics of three kinds of bivariates,namely,“technological innovation-financial development”,“technological innovationindustrial structure”and “financial development-industrial structure”.The results show that China’s technological innovation,financial development and industrial structure level have achieved steady improvement in the inspection period,and the improvement of the coordination level and development level of the three systems has effectively promoted the steady improvement of the coupling degree of the three systems.The coupling level of three kinds of two systems is also rising.Among them,the coupling level and spatial matching degree of the two systems of financial development and industrial structure are significantly higher than those other two systems,which shows that the relationship between the mutual promotion and coordinated development of China’s financial development and industrial structure is the key factor to promote the continuous improvement of the coupling relationship of the three systems.From a regional perspective,there are obvious differences in the coupling level of the three systems in the East,northeast,central and western regions of China.The coupling level and growth rate of the three systems in the East are ahead of the other three regions,which means that the differences among the four regions will continue to expand in the future.In addition,the spatial autocorrelation analysis shows that the three bivariates of “technological innovation-financial development”,“technological innovation-industrial structure” and “financial development-industrial structure” have positive spatial correlation except a few years.Finally,the local spatial autocorrelation analysis reveals the spatial heterogeneity of three kinds of bivariates.
