Research On The Development Strategy Of ZSBFOS

With rapid development of China's economy and continuous acceleration of globalization,ports in China develop fast.To a great extent,development and prosperity of ports also determine the national and local economic development level.As one of the core businesses,bonded fuel oil supply has a direct impact on subsequent derivative businesses and the comprehensive service capacity of shipping.In the implementation plan of China free trade demonstration zone,it is clearly proposed to build ports into international oil trading centers,actively develop bonded fuel oil supply business,further improve ports' service function,and vigorously promote the optimization and upgrading of port industry.Zhejiang Seaport Bonded Fuel Oil Supply Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as ZSBFOS),which specializes in bonded fuel oil supply business,has made rapid development in recent two years.However,after in-depth investigation,it is found that there is a large gap between ZSBFOS and other companies,due to the fact that ZSBFOS has been engaged in this business for a short time and lacks systematic and comprehensive strategic guidance.With the deepening of China's opening to the world and frequent international trade,it urgently need to formulate a development strategy to promote sustainable development and achieve the overall strategic objectives of the company.Through the case study of ZSBFOS in the methods of PEST analysis and SWOT analysis,this thesis carries out a thorough investigation to the company's current situation and actual condition of its bonded fuel oil supply business,makes a detailed analysis of its external environment for the business development and its own strengths and weaknesses,and finally puts forward the goals of company's strategic development and competitive strategy by pointing out cost leading strategy,technology leading strategy,enterprise culture strategy and human resources strategy as company's future development strategy.Meanwhile,to ensure smooth implementation of strategy,this thesis also points out that supporting measures should be provided from such aspects as ideology,institution and capital.The research can provide some ideas on future development of bonded fuel oil supply business for ZSBFOS to further improve its market competitiveness.Meanwhile,conclusion of this thesis also has a certain reference value for future development of bonded fuel oil supply business in other ports in China.
