An Analysis Of The Impact Of R&D Investment Structure On TFP

In recent years,with the decrease of population dividend and capital income,the role of promoting economic growth is becoming less and less.In order to achieve high-speed and sustainable economic growth,it is imperative to improve TFP.Most economists and policy makers believe that increasing R&D investment can promote TFP,but China is currently facing a surge in R&D investment and TFP growth In the slowing down situation,how to allocate R&D investment resources and adjust R&D investment structure play a more critical role in improving TFP.First of all,it describes the research background,significance and related research trends at home and abroad,introduces the research content,methods and technical routes,on this basis,it describes the related concepts and theoretical basis involved in the paper,and defines and analyzes the concepts and theories involved in this paper;Secondly,it analyzes the development status,existing problems and the influence mechanism of R&D investment and its structure,summarizes the experience of foreign R&D investment according to relevant data,and explores the theoretical differences of R7 D investment structure on TFP;Thirdly,based on the data of national GDP,fixed assets stock,labor force and R & D investment in 1999-2018,the paper makes a descriptive analysis to verify the theoretical reasoning,uses Malmquist DEA to calculate and decompose TFP,builds a regression model according to the economic growth theory,and decomposes the variables of basic research,applied research and experimental development funds and TFP respectively The regression model was analyzed systematically to further verify the hypothesis.Finally,according to the different effects of R & D investment structure on TFP decomposition index,combined with foreign experience,according to universities,research institutions,governments,enterprises and other investment subjects,respectively,put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions on the basic research,application research,experiment and Development Research of R & D investment structure,in order to promote the efficient and stable development of economy.
