| The Yangtze River Economic Belt is known as the "Golden Belt" of China’s economy. It is the most important east-west axis of China’s land and space development and the backbone of China’s economy. There are rich and high-quality natural and cultural tourism resources in the region. However, basic conditions such as economic development, infrastructure construction, and resource endowment are different in various regions. There is a big gap between the development of tourism and the contribution to the economy, and there is a relatively obvious inconsistency between tourism and economic development. Therefore,it is necessary to further explore the real development relationship between the coupling and coordination of tourism competitiveness and economic contribution in the Yangtze River Economic Belt,in order to promote the optimal coordination and sustainable development of regional tourism and economy. This article takes 11 provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt as research objects, selects a total of 10 years of data from 2008 to 2017,and selects 50 indicators to build a coordinated indicator system that couples tourism competitiveness and economic contribution. The tourism competitiveness model, tourism economic contribution model, and coupling coordination model are used to measure each system.Research shows:(1)The interannual change of the tourism competitiveness index is not obvious, indicating that the promotion of tourism competitiveness requires a cumulative process; The comprehensive index of tourism competitiveness ofthe three places of Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Shanghai has always won the top three; The spatial differences in tourism competitiveness are significantly consistent with the regional economic development levels, showing a clear spatial distribution pattern of "downstream> midstream> upstream".(2)The contribution of tourism economy fluctuates more obviously, and Yunnan has the largest increase; The overall ranking of the upstream region is high, and the top three appear in the upstream region; The spatial differences are significant, and the overall spatial development pattern of "high in the west and low in the east" is presented. On the contrary, the contribution of tourism economy is roughly inversely proportional to the level of regional economic development.(3)The coupling and coordination index of the Yangtze River Economic Belt generally shows a rising trend, with the fastest growth rate in the upstream region and relatively large fluctuations in the downstream region; The level of coupling coordination is low,the overall development is out of order, and the level has not jumped;Severe lags in coupling coordination levels in various places in 2008;The midstream and downstream region lagged behind the upstream region in 2013;In 2017,the level of coupling and coordination in the midstream region was prominent, and the Yunnan and Guizhou expensive areas in the upstream region developed steadily, while the level of overall coupling and coordination in the downstream region was low. Finally, according to the division of the three regions of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, combined with the regional development strategy and reality, the corresponding suggestions are put forward from the downstream region, the midstream region, the upstream region, and the overall regionof the Yangtze River Economic Belt. |
