Under the trend of economic globalization,a large number of Chinese enterprises go abroad to actively participate in the competition of overseas markets.In view of the large amount of experience accumulated by Chinese enterprises in substation infrastructure construction,substation complete configuration,substation product performance,project schedule management and other successful cases in the past,the overall competitiveness has been continuously enhanced,and the number of contracts for overseas substation general contracting projects has increased year by year.The increase in the number of substation projects abroad has also prompted a large number of domestic power equipment to go abroad,including large-scale equipment such as transformers.Under the background of socialized large division of labor,most enterprises realize international transfer of large-scale equipment through third-party transporters,which not only take into account the need to save costs and improve efficiency,but also can transfer transport risks.Unlike the international transportation of conventional goods,the international transportation of large-scale equipment requires more energy and attention from enterprises.The management means and methods adopted by enterprises to third-party transporters are a key factor affecting the quality of large-scale equipment transportation.However,most enterprises generally have the need to effectively control the transport operators,but they do not know where to start due to lack of enough experience.This paper takes the large-scale equipment transporters as the research object,and takes S company as the research background to explore and study the management of large-scale equipment transporters.This paper mainly carries out the following research work: Firstly,from the current situation of S company’s management of transporters,combining with the current working mode and the problems in the transportation of large-scale equipment in the past,this paper summarizes the problems existing in S company’s management of large-scale equipment transporters.Then,for the current problem,a large-scale equipment transporter management model will be set up,including the pre-transporter evaluation and selection,the transporter’s execution process control in the event,and the after-sales transportation result summary and feedback.Finally,taking the new substation project of Sudan Cement Plant of S Company as an example,this paper verifies the mode and content of large-scale equipment transportation management.At the end,to summarize a systematic management method for large-scale equipment transporters of overseas projects suitable for the characteristics of S Company at this stage.The research results of this paper have strong operability and practical.Not only can enterprises clearly grasp the specific procedural work of large-scale equipment in the international transport sector,but also enterprises can be inspired to put forward more reasonable management objectives and measures for transporters,so as to achieve the sustainability of large-scale equipment transport quality to meet the overall needs of overseas projects.The goal of improving the quality of overseas project implementation provides logistics support and guarantee,which is of great significance.
