Analysis Of Multi-dimensional Poverty Occurrence And Causes Of Poverty In Plain Agricultural Areas

Since the 18 th National Congress,the idea of "precision" as the core of poverty alleviation has become an important guiding ideology for building a well-off society in an all-round way in China.It is an urgent task for the state and government to win the battle against poverty and realize the total poverty of the rural poor under the current standard of 2020.Through the literature combing,the theoretical framework of poverty research is constructed,combined with its own professional knowledge,looking for small and micro-scale data,trying to study multi-dimensional poverty from the perspective of geography,and analyzing the occurrence and mechanism of multi-dimensional poverty.Considering the geographical traffic,topography,level of economic development and the progress of poverty alleviation in the area of East Henan Plain,this paper selects Xiayi County,Henan Province as the case area,and uses the most popular measurement method AF multidimensional poverty in current academic circles.Combining multidimensional poverty theory and space Interface theory selects 7 indexes from macro and micro levels to analyze the mechanism of poverty,improves the theoretical framework of poverty research,has practical significance for the precision poverty alleviation work in this area,and at the same time provides a certain reference for the decision of the country and the government to achieve precision poverty alleviation.According to the results of the inquiry,the following conclusions are obtained.First,in the calculation of multi-dimensional poverty of farmers,it is found that the education dimension has the most serious impact on multi-dimensional poverty,the education dimension has the highest incidence of poverty,and for Xiayi County,different from other deep poverty areas,the lower incidence of poverty in the income dimension is no longer the main cause of multi-dimensional poverty.In the education dimension,the head of household is generally under the education level,the incidence of poverty in the years of education is 41.54%,while in the income dimension,the incidence of poverty per capita income is only 2.1% per year,which is much lower than the years of education.The consequences of multidimensional poverty The impact rate of multi-dimensional poverty was 11.77%,8.89% and 5.32%,respectively.The impact rate of the indicators under the standard of living and the income dimension was relatively low.In Xiayi County,the study area,the terrain was flat,the natural conditions were relativelygood,and the food production conditions were better.At the present stage,the poverty and the past were different,and the income and living standards were generally improved.Second,in the spatial distribution of multidimensional poverty,the occurrence of poverty has spatial differentiation.The results of multi-dimensional poverty calculation and spatial data of 96 sample villages are superimposed and analyzed.It is found that the multi-dimensional poverty occurrence in Xiayi County presents a spatial imbalance.Thirdly,in the influence factors of multi-dimensional poverty and the mechanism of poverty,using regression analysis,it is found that the factors of labor force number,transportation,location,water system condition have significant influence on multi-dimensional poverty,while the number of supporting population and income structure have no significant influence on multi-dimensional poverty.At the micro level,the number of labor force has a significant impact on multi-dimensional poverty,the regression analysis coefficient of the number of labor force is-0.122,and the number of labor force has a significant inhibitory effect on the multi-dimensional poverty of families.At the macro level,the regression analysis coefficients of traffic accessibility,distance from township government and water system condition are-0.012,-0.010 and-0.055 respectively,which have a significant impact on multi-dimensional poverty.At the present stage,when dealing with multi-dimensional poverty,we should strengthen the management of villages in these aspects at the village level.
