A Study On The Impact Of Entrepreneurial Bricolage On Business Model Innovation Of New Ventures In Poor Areas

The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China stated that "the contradiction between the people's increasing needs for a better life and imbalanced and insufficient development" is the main contradiction of the "new era".Underdevelopment in poor areas,Unbalanced development with other regions is a prominent manifestation of this major contradiction.Entrepreneurship can solve employment while promoting the development of characteristic natural resources ?Increase the income of residents in poor areas in poor areas.It is considered an effective way to break the vicious circle of poverty.Therefore,entrepreneurship has become an effective way to implement poverty alleviation strategies in the rural areas of China.However,to start a business,you must first understand the logic of its operation--Business model.Compared to developed regions,Poor areas often lack the entrepreneurial resources needed for entrepreneurial activities,It is Leading to ineffectiveness of existing mainstream business models in poor areas,so we need to implement business model innovation for entrepreneurial situations in poor areas.Creative use as a limited resource at hand,entrepreneurial bricolage can become a new venture in poor areas to break through resource constraints.It makes effective strategies for business model innovation come true.But how does the unique entrepreneurial situation in poor areas affect the entrepreneurial bricolage of new ventures?How does the Entrepreneurial bricolage affect the business model innovation of new ventures in poor areas?How will it ultimately affect the sustainable growth of start-ups in poor areas?The above questions are the starting point of this article.Based on previous research results,The author builds a theoretical model of the impact mechanism of Entrepreneurial bricolage on the innovation of business models of new ventures in poor areas,Data analysis was performed based on 320 survey books in Wuling Mountain Area.SPSS 21.0 software was used to carry out descriptive statistics,reliability and validity analysis,exploratory factor analysis,confirmatory factor analysis,correlation analysis and hierarchical regression on sample data.The study found:(1)Constraints on the value chain have a significant impact on the start-up Entrepreneurial bricolage of new ventures in poor areas,However,the impact of different dimensions of the value chain constraints on the start-ups of Entrepreneurial bricolage in poor areas is inconsistent.Specifically,productivity constraints significantly positively affect Entrepreneurial bricolage in poor areas.And transaction constraints have a significant negative impact on the start-ups of Entrepreneurial bricolage in poor areas;(2)Entrepreneurial bricolage is positively affecting the innovation of business models of poor start-ups,And the dimensions of Entrepreneurial bricolage have a significant positive impact on the dimensions of the business model innovation of new ventures in poor areas;(3)Opportunity recognition plays a moderating role in patching up entrepreneurship and innovating business models for start-ups in poor areas.There are two main innovations in this research.First,the introduction of poverty situations into entrepreneurship research has enriched the results of entrepreneurship research.At present,entrepreneurial scholars focus their research on economically developed areas.Entrepreneurship research rarely focuses on poverty.Even the definition of entrepreneurship does not include situations of poverty.This research aims at the problem of “difficulty in business model innovation” for new ventures in the context of poor areas.The introduction of the characteristics of entrepreneurial contexts in poor areas into the research of the impact mechanism of the business model innovation of new ventures in poor areas is a study of the current entrepreneurial field,especially the sentrepreneurship bricolage research's supplementary consideration of the situation in poor areas.Second,the use of business model innovation as a result of entrepreneurial bricolage provides a new perspective on the impact of entrepreneurial bricolage on the growth of new ventures.At present,domestic research on entrepreneurial bricolage mostly takes corporate performance as the outcome variable.This study explores the impact of entrepreneurial bricolage on the business model innovation of new ventures,Set up a complete path of "entrepreneurial bricolage-patchwork-business-model innovation-corporate performance".This provides a new perspective for better understanding the impact of entrepreneurial patchwork on the growth of start-ups in poor areas.
