The Impact Of Infrastructure Upgrading On China's Export Trade Potential

Since the "one road" initiative proposed,China has promoted the exchange and cooperation between China and the countries along the line by promoting the development of the five links.The five links in the facilities are the cornerstone of the cooperation between the States.In recent years,the speed of infrastructure construction is relatively fast.Infrastructure construction has affected all areas of national development,as well as the cooperation between China and countries along the line.It also promotes intra-regional trade.The quality and perfection of infrastructure construction provide trade opportunities for trade between countries.Will the continuous improvement of infrastructure network along the route have a significant impact on China's export trade potential?Starting from theoretical research,this paper sorts out the impact of infrastructure on Trade and the literature on trade impact of different types of infrastructure along the "one belt,along the way.It introduces the overall status quo,country structure and export commodity structure of China's trade export to the countries along the border,and describe from the three aspects of transport infrastructure,communication infrastructure and power infrastructure.Then,it elaborates the impact path of infrastructure on trade potential,and analyses the impact on trade potential from the perspective of infrastructure quality,infrastructure network,infrastructure development balance and different types of infrastructure.Empirical analysis is used to analyze the data of 52 countries along the route from 2008 to 2017.Infrastructure index variables and related dummy variables are added to the gravity model.Dynamic panel GMM analysis is used to describe the dynamic changes of the model.The empirical results show that the improvement of infrastructure level has a great effect on the trade between China and the countries along the route.At the same time,the trade along the route is greatly promoted.The level of national economic development,population and distance between the two countries will have an impact on trade between the two countries.Then,the trade potential of each country is calculated by using the model results,and the countries with different potential levels are classified and the reasons are analyzed.Finally,based on the above analysis,this paper draws the conclusion that the upgrading of infrastructure level has a dynamic impact on the export potential of the countries along the route of China.In view of the obstacles encountered in the current infrastructure construction,this paper puts forward personal opinions on the future infrastructure construction of the countries along the route and how to tap the trade potential of the countries along the route.
