Performance is the consideration and evaluation of the completion of an enterprise,and it is the life pattern of an enterprise.In order to get maximum benefit and long-term development,the performance evaluation system should be set in a scientific way.Economic globalization and knowledge-based economy make more and more companies pay attention to the transformation of performance management.This represents that from the perspective of corporate strategic development,the idea of efficient corporate governance through a strong performance management system has been widely recognized.As a vital part of China’s financial industry,commercial banks need and must focus on their own performance level.The operation and prospects of commercial banks not only affect every citizen,but also from a macro perspective,their performance level is a barometer of the macro-level performance of the national economy.Because of the different.economic development environment,China is still in the exploratory stage in the formulation of performance system.Compared with Western countries,they have successfully integrated performance evaluation into the management of commercial banks.We should learn from western countries,and use scientific speculation and expectations to improve the performance management level of commercial banks.From the strategic point of view of commercial banks,this paper chooses two performance evaluation tools,EVA and BSC,therefore we analyze the compatibility between them.It also expounds the development process of performance evaluation of commercial banks in China.therefore we analyze the compatibility between them.Through the analysis of specific examples of Bank Y Branch,this paper sums up the existing problems in the performance rating system of Bank Y,and finds that Bank Y should focus on improvement in strategic development,staff interests,evaluation and coordination.Then,through the SWOT analysis of Y Bank,this paper draws the strategic map,and then optimizes the evaluation method of EVA and BSC integration from the aspects of necessity and feasibility;moreover,it selects the appropriate evaluation index by the way of qualitative and quantitative combination,and constructs four financial levels:customer,internal process,learning and growth,and the financial aspect with EVA as the core.Then it uses the analytic hierarchy process to process the information obtained from the questionnaire survey,and systematically determines the weight of performance indicators of BSC commercial banks with EVA as the core.The system links the performance evaluation with the concept of strategic management,effectively making up for the deficiencies of the traditional performance management system with financial indicators as the core.Then,it discusses the measures and suggestions for Y bank to implement performance evaluation system of BSC based on the EVA successfully;Finally,combing with the actual data of Bank Y,this paper points out the problems to be considered in the implementation,in order to achieve better results in operation.
