Research On Working Capital Management Of Company A Based On Channel Management Perspective

Working capital is the key to support the operation of enterprises,and effective capital management can promote the efficient transfer of working capital among business activities,enhance the value created by each business activity,so as to promote the efficient development of enterprises.Therefore,strengthening the management of working capital is very important to the development of enterprises.In recent years,due to the economic downward pressure,the operation of timber trading enterprises has entered a period of ups and downs,coupled with the trade dispute between China and the United States in 2018,the environment has become increasingly grim.How to guarantee the capital operation ability of timber trading enterprises and reduce the risk of capital chain rupture is an urgent problem to be solved.This paper introduces the channel management and reclassifies the working capital from the perspective of channel management,which is helpful for the timber trading enterprises to control the risk of working capital from the root and prevent it.In the existing studies on the working capital management of timber trading enterprises,few studies have combined the impact of the Sino-American trade war with channel management and working capital management due to time constraints.At the same time,in the practical field,the economic downturn and the superposition of Sino-American trade dispute,the importance of working capital to ensure the normal operation of timber trading enterprises is more prominent.Based on the above background,it is of great significance to integrate channel management into the working capital management system of timber trading enterprises in combination with the background of the Sino-American trade war,and discuss the enterprise working capital management from the perspective of purchasing and sales channels.This paper selects company A as the research object,and adopts the methods of literature research,investigation and comparative analysis.Firstly,introducing the company's industry background,organizational structure and business situation.Secondly,the paper uses the traditional working capital management analysis to reveal the current situation of the company's working capital management,and points out the traditional working capital management methods.Then,through the channel management method for analysis and evaluation on the company's working capital management,finding company A due to the management mode is more extensive,caused the company settlement way relying too much on commercial paper,imperfect logistics monitoring measures and piling up,ignoring the management of accounts receivable,and customer relationship management,sales mode of the single,procurement problems such as the United States wood specific gravity is too large.Finally,in view of the existing problems and causes in the company's management,this paper proposes some working capital management measures,such as strengthening supplier and customer relationship management,improving logistics tracking process,taking advance of the “one belt and one road” opportunity,expanding purchasing channels,and strengthening accounts receivable management,so as to improve the working capital management level.The research of this paper is helpful for company A to improve its working capital management and improve its business performance,and it can also provide useful reference for timber trading enterprises.
